Rose Petal Christmas Tree

How about a white rose petal tree to go with the rest of your white themed Christmas decor?? This one was SO SIMPLE to do and very cheap. You just need to make a trip to the Dollar Store and get:
Stryofoam cone
Rose Petals (in the wedding section)
White Pom Pom
Hot Glue
~Take your styrofoam and start putting dots of hot glue around the base of it. Place a pointed part of the petal on each dot.
~Go around and around with the dots and the petals until you get to the top.
~Hot glue a white pom pom to the top.
Wicked easy, huh??
I like the result.
My tells me he husband likes this tree because it looks like a pile of scalloped potatoes.
Thanks, dude.
I shared this post at these funky linky parties!! Check 'em out!!:

  5. I'm swooning. That tree is beautiful, soft, romantic, absolutely dreamy. I LOVE IT! Thank you for the directions too. Generally rose petals are VERY expensive at Hobby Lobby. I had no idea that they had them at the dollar store. That makes me so happy too! Great post. Thank you so much for sharing at the Boardwalk Bragfest!

  9. This is such an awesome idea! The petals would also look adorable hot glued to a styrofoam ball as well. You could hang it up with a ribbon, kinda like a kissing ball? How cute. Found you via Frou Frou Decor linky party.

  10. I'm in love. Which bush is beautiful, soft to the touch romantic in nature, and completely outstanding. I admire it! I am grateful also for the directions. The petals of roses are typically extremely costly at Hobby Lobby or elsewhere. I absolutely no idea they sold them in a dollar store. That makes me extremely happy as well! Wonderful post.
