 Something that I have wondered about with shipping wine across the country is how a good temperature is maintained for the wine itself. Too much or too little temperature can ruin a good bottle. Last Bottle Wines are packed in styrofoam for protection against damages, and a 1% fee is available for insurance, though you may waive the fee and assume the responsibility. If you live in a warm weather climate, the warehouse may pack your wines with an ice pack, but even that may not protect against a truly hot spell, and in that case the warehouse may hold the wines for you until the best time is decided.
