Clothespin Bunny

(Don't forget to link up to my Marvelous Mess party....I will be picking one project to feature on my sidebar for a week!!)

Here's a cute and simple idea for a close-to-Easter craft:

It's a little clothespin bunny for sealing a lunch bag or just as a gift in an Easter basket. I'm a huge fan of clothespin crafts....a while back (for the munchkins birthday) I made clothespin seals which were a big hit with all the kiddo's. This kind of craft is perfectly fun for you and any little ones in your life.

Here is what you need:
wooden craft spoons
clothespins
white paint
pink pearl glue
mini gems
pen
wood glue

~Using wood glue, glue three wooden spoons together in the shape of a head and two ears like this:
~Paint them white.
~Break two spoons in half and with the thinner ends to make the back even for glueing onto the clothespin.....like this:

~Glue them down with the wood glue.
~Once dry, glue the whole thing (unpainted side) to the clothespin:

~Squeeze a drop of pearl glue for the nose and two blue gems for the eyes.
~Draw a little mouth, two front paws and two back feet on the bottom of the body part of the spoon:

Super cute, huh??

A Marvelous Mess #8

**Okay, I've totally joined the Inlinkz bandwagon. I've had a free account with them for this Link party so far and last week I used the "one free thumb linkz" option.....and I am now addicted. I upgraded to all thumblinkz for 6 months.....so, now I can SEE (and everyone else can see) all of your pretty projects. Yay!!! I heart inlinkz. **

Save Money with Glasses USA

(Guest Post Sponsored by GlassesUSA)

Shopping for eye glasses online is really easy and usually yields the biggest rewards! There’s little reason to budget - sites like GlassesUSA.com offer a complete set of single-vision glasses starting from $38.00 - and the best part is that there’s no one to follow you around! You can shop from home or work without irritating sales people following you! You can even try the glasses online with the help of a virtual mirror. If a site doesn’t have a virtual mirror - go elsewhere because they’re not investing in your business.

The next time you want to order glasses, search the internet first to find a coupon code. For instance, GlassesUSA is offering 10% off any order of glasses when you use the code: Blog10. Alternatively, if you’re in the market for prescription sunglasses, you can upgrade to tinted lenses on any order of $80 or more when you use the code: FreeTint. Not only will you get your money’s worth but you’ll actually save less!

Why spend $400 on a pair of so-so glasses when you can spend 70% less than that on a pair of high quality glasses with exceptional lenses?

Shopping for eyeglasses can be such a drag. You need to budget in advance, then go to the store - try on dozens of frames, only to be followed around by a nosey-sales person. Why deal with the burden of shopping for glasses at retail stores when you can shop online and avoid the hassle!
