Barksters and Chloe

Chloe loves her Barksters. Has your pupster tried them yet?
We were given two different flavors to try from the website Loving Pets: Brown Rice and Alfalfa. The brown rice flavor (in the purple) was for digestive health and the alfalfa treats were for freshening breath. Both flavors could be found mixed with chicken, beef, or liver.
The verdict??
They were devoured. :-) She treated them like I treat chips when I've had a several drinks....like candy. And, they even have the ripples like chips. Granted, it's hard to get a really good review of a doggie treats from a dog....they are *treats*, ya know?? My dog (now Dogs!!) will chow just about everything. But, here's why *I* like these treats for my puppies:

~Only 12 calories each
~Manufactured in the USA
~Low in fat
~Made with only USA ingredients

Chloe and Buddy give these their paw print of approval!!

I received product in return for a review. All opinions are my own and written entirely in my own words!!!

Rooster and Hen Painting and our new Buddy

Whew, it's been a while since I posted an actual project I made. I've been super busy and we also just got a new puppy to be a friend to our Boston, Chloe. :-) His name is Buddy and he's a 9 week old black lab pup:

Of course, Chloe is a bit jealous of all the attention Buddy is getting....and though she looks vicious in the next picture, she is actually treating him quite nicely. I just thought her eyes were hilarious in the photo and had to show you. :-)

When he's not sleeping, he loves to wrestle with his sister.

So....that is a pretty good reason for being busy recently. I'm on puppy duty. (And, sometimes IN Puppy Doody).

Here is the project I wanted to show you today:
This rooster is decorating the side of my In-Laws chicken coop. It's made from the same Sub-Flooring that I've used on other projects like the Crab Apple Blossoms, and  Cheap Chicks. This is my favorite material to work on right now. Look how great it weathered!! Here is one of the Roosters hens:
Pretty simple, really. Just painted them on and used an acrylic spray to seal them once they were dry. Mod podge would do nicely as well. The hen painting stays inside, as you can tell from how little it has worn. The rooster painting is out protecting his ladies and getting a little faded from the sun.

I'm sharing this post at these lovely parties:
