So VERY into Dresses

3If you haven't noticed from my recent post, I'm totally into dresses right now. I've got a formal wedding to go to at the end of July and I'm in search of something stylish and fancy to wear. I've got the same old dress that I wore to a wedding last summer......bleh. I'm looking for something new.
There's a nice site called VERY that's totally new to me:

http://www.very.co.uk/

They've got a lot of stylish options:
Shelbys Summer Dress from The French Connection

Teatro Frill Front Dress for those looking to accent their shoulders and have a smooth silhouette.

South Crinkle Hem Maxi Dress

And, my personal favorite for it's vintage style:
Loving it!! It reminds me of my own wedding dress. I had it made from a local seamstress. White linen and cotton eyelet pattern with a peasant simplicity. I loved it. :-)

VERY has plenty of other shopping for those of you not looking for dresses. They've got camping essentials, cases of select wines, men's clothing, baby clothing and supplies, and plenty of toys.

This post is in association with VERY.CO.UK. It was written by me and all opinions are my own.

A Marvelous Mess #19 and Fetaures!!!

I've been totally preoccupied over the past few days with a new baby in my extended family.......so sweet!! I was the designated baby sitter for the older brother. I forgot how nice new babies smell. They should have a car scent called "New Baby" and then all the Mom's no matter how stressed they might feel would be all smiley for their driving time.
Here were my Fav's from last week:
Pudding Beach Cups from Sun Scholars. So funny and cute!! What kiddo wouldn't be thrilled to put this together for themselves??

And the post I am going to feature on my sidebar for a week is.....

Kimono Baby Shoes from Nifty Thrifty Things!! I am totally planning on making some of these for the new baby in the family!!

More Flowers!!

There comes a time in every girls day when they need more flowers on their dress. Because dresses without flowers are not fun, right? I recently updated a small gals dress and this is how it turned out!! Just layers of trimmed fabric flowers in two different colors and a button sewn on top. Then a few rosettes to balance it out.
The little lady I made this for thought it as peachy keen!! I have to agree. I'm eyeing all the dresses in my closet wit an eye towards flowery possibilitites. :-)
